When I first started with doterra, I was adamant I would not do the business. I was currently with another unrelated mlm and had lost money. It was more of a hobby than a way to get income. Once I used my oils, I saw huge and quick results to some big issues we were seeing in my baby and people around me noticed. This led me to share with a few friends and go on to hit the rank of Elite almost overnight. Sometime after I hit Elite, I read the compensation plan that came with my starter kit. I quickly saw how the compensation plan was clearly better than others out there and decided to see how hard it was to hit Silver by simply being smart with placements and sharing the oils I’d become so passionate about. I hit the rank of silver 10.5 months after I got my oils and the rest is history!
I started with doTERRA to have natural options to use for my family as a nervous brand new mom. I had no plans of ever doing this as a business. I quickly fell in love with the oils, how well they worked, and the freedom they gave me to care for my family.
Once I found these solutions, I couldn’t help myself from sharing them with everyone around me. Then I learned about the business opportunity, it was such a perfect match for me. My life was changed in 2005 when I was injured in the police academy and again in 2006 when both my parents were diagnosed with cancer. Events that led me to where I am today. I knew there had to be something better out there. I didn’t find it until 2011. Once I realized the power behind these little bottles I felt so inspired as a woman, wife, friend, mother, to be able to help those I loved to improve their life and wellness as well. Within 3 years of consistent dedication to our business, I had replaced both my husband and my income. This allowed us freedom to choose the life we wanted which was perfect timing for our growing family. I chose to quit working in law enforcement and continue assisting people to uplevel their health and life. This journey has been the most rewarding one I’ve been on yet!
